Gynecologist (Outpatient Only – No OB)

This opportunity is with a well-established multispecialty medical group serving the Ocala region. The organization offers coordinated, patient-centered care across multiple specialties including Women’s Health, Primary Care, Endocrinology, Cardiology, and Diagnostic Imaging.

The practice provides strong administrative support, in-house diagnostics, and a collaborative clinical environment that allows physicians to deliver efficient, high-quality women’s health services.

Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gynecologist to join its outpatient-only women’s health practice in Ocala, Florida.

This role is strictly GYN only — no obstetrics, no deliveries, no labor & delivery call.
The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, manageable patient volume, and a well-supported clinic staffed by experienced nurses, MAs, and administrative personnel.

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient gynecologic care including wellness exams, contraceptive counseling, menopause management, and chronic women’s health conditions.

• Diagnose and treat gynecologic concerns such as pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, fibroids, PCOS, endometriosis, sexual health disorders, and hormonal imbalance.

• Perform in-office procedures (Pap smears, biopsies, colposcopy, IUD insertion/removal, implantable contraception, etc.).

• Review imaging and laboratory studies; create detailed, patient-centered care plans.

• Collaborate with primary care and specialty teams when appropriate.

• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).

• Participate in ongoing quality improvement, workflow optimization, and patient education initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

Licensure & Certification

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecology (GYN-focused OB/GYN acceptable).

• Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain.

Experience

• Outpatient gynecology experience preferred.

• Strong new graduates with a focus on GYN welcome to apply.
