Position Summary

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join a well-established, hospital-employed practice in Lawton, Oklahoma.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a broad range of general surgery procedures, including bread-and-butter cases and endoscopic scopes. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated surgeon seeking professional growth in a collaborative and supportive hospital environment that values high-quality, community-focused care.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform a broad scope of general surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and endoscopic cases.

• Provide inpatient and outpatient surgical consultations.

• Participate in shared call coverage and collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and quality initiatives.

• Document clinical care accurately and efficiently in the EMR system.

• Contribute to surgical department growth, quality improvement, and community outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

• Licensure & Certification:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.

  • Eligible for Oklahoma medical licensure.

• Experience: Experience in a broad general surgery practice preferred; new graduates welcome.

• Skills: Strong procedural competence, clinical judgment, and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary at or above MGMA median, based on experience

• Quarterly bonus potential

• $30,000 sign-on bonus

• $3,000–$5,000 CME allowance 5 days of CME leave annually
