Position Summary
The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join its expanding specialty care team in Shelton, Connecticut.
This full-time, permanent role offers an outpatient-focused schedule with a strong referral base from an established primary care network. The endocrinologist will diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders while working closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes primary care physicians, dietitians, diabetes educators, and nursing staff.

Essential Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders including diabetes, thyroid conditions, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances

Provide comprehensive outpatient care including treatment planning and long-term disease management

Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care

Work with diabetes educators and clinical staff to support patient education and disease management programs

Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Participate in clinical meetings, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives

Stay current with advancements in endocrinology and evidence-based treatment protocols
Qualifications

Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Training: Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship

Licensure: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology; eligibility for Connecticut licensure

Experience: Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply
