Endocrinologist (MD) | Full-Time
Location: Shelton, Connecticut
A well-established, community-focused healthcare organization in the Shelton, Connecticut area is actively seeking a full-time Endocrinologist (MD) to join its growing specialty care team. Position Overview
• Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrine care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of endocrine disorders
• Manage conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic diseases
• Perform and interpret diagnostic testing related to endocrine function
• Develop individualized treatment plans with a focus on evidence-based care and patient education
• Utilize advanced diabetes management tools including CGM and insulin pump therapy
• Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, and hospital-based teams
• Utilize EMR for timely and accurate documentation
• Participate in shared call coverage (phone-only, minimal burden)
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers, diabetes educators, and support staff
• Opportunities to participate in academic and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
• Eligible for Connecticut State medical licensure
• Active or eligible DEA registration
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
