Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Team Member to join our team at our café. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while crafting high-quality beverages, healthy food, and providing exceptional service. Your knowledge of customer service and food safety will ensure that every item served meets our standards of excellence.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and smoothie beverages, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our customers.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and efficient service flow.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service or café industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
