Food Runner Job Description
Reports to: General Manager & Assistant General Manager
Summary of Position:
Responsible for assisting all Bartenders, Servers, and Dining team members in the preparation and service of quality according to all recipes and standards. Facilitating the prompt service of all products with a friendly, individualized experience for each guest. Food runners assist all food operations in all service areas and restaurants, including assisting chef/managers in running food, restocking products, and supplying more when needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for food running in all dining, bar, and any specialty restaurant outlet.
- Garnish as needed according to standard recipes and promptly deliver all orders to appropriate tables.
- Anticipate guest’s needs and ensure they are met per company’s service standards.
- Works in collaboration with other team members (restaurant, bar, PDR, café).
- Take out garbage and supplies as needed.
- Refill station mise en place
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- Certification in safe service training.
- Must have ServSafe food handler’s certification
- Maintain a clean and organized area, ensuring all glassware, utensils, and tools are sanitized and readily available. Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
Job Type: Full-time
