We are seeking a Property Operations Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of long-term and short-term rental properties throughout the Gallatin Valley.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and thrives in a fast-paced environment balancing resident experience, owner communication, leasing, and operations.
Responsibilities
Leasing & Occupancy
• Manage leasing activities from inquiry through move-in
• Conduct showings and support applicant screening processes
• Prepare leases, renewals, notices, and move-in documentation
• Monitor vacancy performance and assist with marketing efforts
• Support lease renewals and resident retention initiatives
Portfolio Operations
• Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor scheduling
• Complete property inspections and document findings
• Manage turnovers and make-ready processes
• Assist with owner communications and reporting
• Support day-to-day portfolio operations across long-term and short-term rentals
Resident & Guest Experience
• Serve as a primary point of contact for residents and guests
• Resolve concerns professionally and proactively
• Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and inspections
• Maintain high service standards across the portfolio
Administrative / Systems
• Maintain accurate records within property management software platforms
• Track work orders, leasing activity, and resident communication
• Support operational process improvements and documentation
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
• Property management, leasing, hospitality, or real estate experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Experience with AppFolio, Guesty, or similar software preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
