Optometrist
Location: Geneva, IL
Schedule: 35 hours/week
Compensation: $60–$75/hr Productivity Bonus
Start Date: January 1, 2026
Seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our multi-specialty Ophthalmology and Optometry practice. This full-time role offers a diverse patient caseload, strong clinical support, and excellent growth opportunities. New graduates are welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and refractions
- Diagnose and manage a variety of vision and eye health conditions
- Prescribe glasses and specialty contact lenses (including keratoconus, corneal molding, scleral, post-refractive surgery cases)
- Provide care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Manage medical eye conditions (glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, diabetic eye disease)
- Refer to in-house ophthalmologists when appropriate
- Document patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary providers
Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Illinois licensure (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Experience with medically complex patients preferred
- Cornea or contact lens experience a plus
- Comfortable seeing 4–5 patients per hour
