(This position will be located at one of our Branch Networks)RESPONSIBILITIES:In field training and hands-on work on a variety of heavy-lift/heavy transport jobs.Attend training and self-study to develop an understanding of crane, rigging, and transport safety, standards, and best practices. Become competent in performing basic rigging calculations and using standard PLR engineering programs including but not limited to: AutoCAD, Inventor, 3-D Lift Plan, MatchCAD, RISA, Excel.Develop working knowledge of ProLift equipment, load charts, features, operational best practices.Work with PLR engineering team in new tool development, design, and testing.Work with PLR Sales team in performing calculations, equipment layouts, site walks, and concept drawings to develop innovative rigging solutions.Work with PLR Project Management and Field teams to develop scope plans that meet PLR standards. Plans should evaluate and optimize safety, feasibility, and efficiency.Support branch teams in any other aspects as needed.Travel to jobsites, projects, and customers as needed.Develop relationships with PLR personnel, customers, and vendors.Gain an understanding of ProLift's culture, processes, and other personnels' roles and responsibilities.Work and act in a way that is consistent ProLift's Mission Statement and Core Values. Required Qualifications:Must be willing to travelMust be able to perform physical workMust possess a valid driver's licenseFlexibility to work long hours/weekends as neededMust pass drug test, background check, and fit for duty assessment.Education:Pursing a Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering Discipline from an ABET accredited institution. Mechanical, Civil, or Construction disciplines are preferred.Administrative Skills:Strong technical background with demonstrated experienceExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience with CAD modeling and drafting preferredCompetency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point) preferred.Strong communication and ability to collaborate with teamEOE/AA Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran
