The successful candidate must be energetic and enjoy working within a small environment that is mission-driven and results-driven. The ideal candidate must be able to independently multitask effectively, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, and have strong organizational skills.
This role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Administrative assistance with events and mailings
- Coordinate logistics and assist with the distribution of materials for quarterly meetings of the Board of Directors and Organizational Committees, as well as office business meetings held in the conference room
- Maintain efficient office operations, including monitoring and maintaining office supplies inventory, ensuring adequate office maintenance, and coordinating phone coverage
- Manage and maintain the office calendar, tracking staff meetings and employee work schedules
- Serve as the first point of contact for all outside calls and inquiries
- Coordinate bi-weekly staff meetings
- Design and implement filing systems, and ensure filing systems are maintained and current
- Manage and coordinate volunteers for mailings and other office projects
- Pick up mail from the post office, open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, and manage and prepare all outgoing mail
- Draft and otherwise manage general communications as needed
- Provide assistance to colleagues and contribute to team effort through other tasks as needed
- Three to five years of experience providing administrative or office management support
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and video conferencing software (Zoom, Teams)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Availability during core business hours (approximately 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, M-F)
Compensation & Benefits
This is a part-time, hourly position with a pay rate of $25–$28 per hour, commensurate with experience.

- Health insurance — employees working a minimum of 20 hours per week are eligible to participate in PRF’s group health plan
- Retirement plan — eligible employees may participate in PRF’s retirement plan with employer match beginning in 2027, subject to meeting minimum eligibility requirements
