Role Description
The main objective of this position is to ensure operational excellence in Export and Import Warehouse processes by monitoring compliance with the procedures established in the Cargo Operations Manual, LATAM Cargo Bulletins, and Publications. To ensure a safe and high-quality operation, compliance with schedules, achievement of flight maximization targets, and fulfillment of commercial priorities. This role also involves overseeing warehouse service providers to ensure compliance with current contracts and service level agreements.
Responsibilities
•Ensure that the Service Provider complies daily with the planning, execution, and control of the operation. •Channel daily communication between the Service Provider and LATAM Cargo in the event of operational deviations or issues.
•Identify and report non-compliance with procedures as opportunities for improvement.
•Directly supervise special operations such as handling of AVI, HUM, PER cargo, charters, and all different cargo products, among others.
•Prepare daily management reports for the area and present them to both the internal team and external stakeholders.
•Support area security by monitoring compliance with the company’s defined security procedures and standards.
•Support the definition of area processes established in the Cargo Operations Program and approve them prior to implementation in the operational line.
•Periodically audit processes through on-site visits and remotely monitor certain station tasks such as YYZ, BOS, ORD, IAH, and MCO.
•Perform any other related duties of a similar nature as required by management
Qualifications
- Minimum of two semesters of higher education.
- 1–2 years of experience in the industry.
- MS Office: Outlook required; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
- Proficiency in SABRE.
- Bilingual: Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
- Availability to work in shifts.
