A former Benedictine monastery, The Priory Hotel is a 42-room, family owned and operated, boutique hotel located in the historic Deutschtown section of Pittsburgh’s North Side – conveniently located walking-distance from downtown Pittsburgh, PNC Park, the Andy Warhol Museum, and Acrisure Stadium.
JOB DUTIES
Public Area Attendant
The Public Area Attendant will be responsible for the general and cleanliness and upkeep of The Priory Hotel property.
A wide variety of tasks will be assigned that require knowledge of cleaning products, attention to detail, and self-reliance. The Public Area Attendant must adhere to luxury hotel standards of cleanliness. The Public Area Attendant may also be required to assist guests with their specific needs, and must do so with politeness and a smile. All maintenance staff for The Priory Hotel should also be up to date with hotel events and functions in order to better answer questions and serve guests, even regarding items not related to maintenance.
Responsibilities
- At the start of each day’s shift, check-in with Front Desk Staff or Management to be made aware of any urgent needs or tasks
- Organize and maintain cleanliness of the sitting room, breakfast area, bathrooms, and other common spaces
- Independently and proactively assess the needs of a project and promptly identify the most efficient and cost-effective course of action to achieve a resolution
- Adhere to all policies laid out within the Priory Hospitality Group Employee Handbook
- Complete all tasks assigned by manager or owners with an emphasis on quality and timeliness.
