What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Admin position at The Print Lab?
We’re Hiring – Shop Coordinator (The Print Lab, Westfield MA)
We’re looking to bring on a Shop Coordinator to help keep things running smoothly day-to-day.
This role sits right in the middle of everything—customers, orders, and the shop. You’ll be talking with clients, putting together quotes, keeping jobs organized, and jumping in to help wherever needed. If you’re someone who’s organized, good with people, and comfortable juggling multiple things at once, this could be a great fit.
This is not a sit-at-a-desk-all-day job. Some days you’ll be answering emails and building quotes, other days you’ll be helping organize orders or lending a hand in the shop. It’s a mix, and that’s what makes it work.
Day-to-day, you’ll be communicating with customers (email, phone, and walk-ins), helping guide them on apparel and print options, and making sure their orders stay on track from start to finish. You’ll also handle some of the behind-the-scenes work—things like invoicing, data entry, and keeping files organized—using tools like QuickBooks, Google Workspace, and Excel. On top of that, we like to stay active online, so posting job photos and keeping our social media moving is part of the role too.
We’re a small team, so being willing to jump in wherever needed is important. That might mean counting garments, organizing orders, or helping out with light production tasks when things get busy.
We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, detail-oriented, and easy to work with. Strong communication skills go a long way here, along with the ability to stay organized without being micromanaged. You don’t need to know everything coming in, but being comfortable with basic computer tools is important. QuickBooks experience is a plus, but not required.
If you’ve worked in an office, customer service role, or even something in apparel or production, that’s definitely helpful—but attitude and work ethic matter more.
We’re a local, veteran-owned business, and we take pride in doing good work and being easy to work with. No corporate layers—just a solid crew that gets after it.
Full-time or part-time available. Pay based on experience.
If you (or someone you know) might be a good fit, shoot me an email at rich@printlabmerch.com with a quick intro.
