Information Technology Engineer (Hybrid)
Seeking an experienced Information Technology Engineer to join the Information Technology team. The Information
Technology team is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of all technology aspects, encompassing physical
infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, cybersecurity, user applications, and desktop systems. The Information Technology
Engineer will manage hardware procurement, support deployment processes, and maintain the firm’s automation scheduler. In
collaboration with various departments, the Engineer will develop, enhance, and maintain scripts to meet the evolving needs of our
business, promptly address alerts, handle support requests, and actively participate in Disaster Recovery Tests.
The ideal candidate will have solid trouble shooting skills, the ability to automate tasks using PowerShell, and demonstrated experience
with virtualization, networking, Office 365, and cloud-based technology. The Information Technology Engineer position will appeal to
candidates who are eager to understand business requirements and workflows, as well as design and implement strategic solutions to
enhance the end user experience. The position provides an opportunity for an Engineer to further develop their skills in various areas of
Information Technology while partnering with colleagues throughout the firm.
Responsibilities will include:
• Manage hardware procurement and deployment process using Microsoft Autopilot and PDQ to deploy laptops in an automated fashion
• Collaborate with Trading, Operations, and Client Management teams to maintain and enhance trading and portfolio accounting systems
• Partner with Data Team to maintain development environments, implement new software, and deploy production code
• Analyze technology and support requests to design solutions that streamline, improve, and scale the business
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in technology, protocols, and best practices
This role is best suited for candidates who have:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
• 3 - 5 years of information technology experience
• Proven track record of success in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows-based software and SaaS applications
• Ability to automate tasks with PowerShell
• Experience managing Microsoft Office 365 environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong collaboration skills to meet team objectives
