A pre-IPO medical device company is expanding its sales team and seeking experienced Medical Device Sales Representatives with strong familiarity working within the VA hospital system. The company calls on Podiatry and Physical Therapy departments for a patient-worn device used in the home. Territory
Greater Los Angeles Area (Expansion Territory)
- Covers: Long Beach north to Burbank, and inland through San Bernardino and surrounding Inland Empire regions
- High-growth territory requiring proactive development and relationship building
- Expect up to 50% travel as you establish and expand market presence across VA accounts and surrounding healthcare systems
Compensation
- Base Salary: $95,000 – $100,000
- On-Target Earnings (Year 1): $175,000 – $200,000
- Commission-based structure with uncapped earning potential

What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive adoption within VA hospital systems ( commercial hospital systems and private practices) across assigned territory
- Call on Physicians, Physical Therapists, and Podiatry stakeholders
- Build and expand relationships with clinical and administrative decision-makers
- Work closely with patients and patient advocacy groups as needed
- Develop new business opportunities in a highly expansion-focused territory
Qualifications (Required)
- MUST HAVE experience calling on Physicians, Therapists, and Prosthetics within the VA system
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution
- Minimum 3 years of medical device sales experience with a proven track record of success
- Willingness to travel 50-75% (car and air travel as needed)
- Comfortable engaging directly with patients and advocacy groups in the field
- Stable employment history (minimum 2 years in current/most recent role preferred)
