The resident transportation staff member maintains professionalism while assisting in the care and transportation of The Pride Group residents outside of their living facilities.
Essential Functions
1. Greets residents with friendly and caring attitude.
2. Treats residents with dignity and respect at all times.
3. Knows resident names and abilities while traveling in community.
4. Assists residents with problems, special requests and carrying of personal items / groceries.
5. Evaluates and coordinates daily route schedules to ensure resident appointments and needs are handled timely.
6. Ensures the van is maintained in a safe, neat and clean manner.
7. Assists in the arrangement of van maintenance and services, including but not limited to vehicle licensing, gas levels, oil change notices, etc.
8. Assists residents with specialized needs while completing activities, including HAB classes, and / or attending appointments.
9. Knowledgeable on all pride group policy and procedure, state and federal law as it relates to company compliance program and will hold team members accountable to the compliance program.
