What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Staff position at The Pride Group?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform required checks on all members as designated
- Assist members with their Activities of Daily Living including but not limited to room cleaning, activities, and assistance with personal hygiene.
- Provide transportation to and from members appointments, sometimes having to stay during appointments.
- Assist members with meal times and snack times
- Assist with activities
- Performing housekeeping tasks as assigned on facility checklists may include bathroom cleaning, facility laundry, and filling of supplies.
- Proper filing of paperwork in charts
- Attend all monthly in-service
- Completes all necessary documentation
- Spend a majority of working shift out on the floors interacting with members to assist in meeting their individual needs and goals.
- PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Valid driver license required Must have a desire to work with persons with disabilities
