What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst position at The Price Center?
The Price Center is one of the Commonwealth’s most highly-regarded human services agencies in the greater Boston area. Our mission is to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, to thrive in their living, social, and work communities. Each year, we serve more than 200 individuals ranging in age from 22 to 81. Our programs include Community Based Day, Day Habilitation, Employment Services, Specialized Supports, and Community Living. The goal of our programs is to involve and integrate our individuals into the local community so they can further develop social and job skills.
This is an on-site role located in Newton, MA for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BCBA will be responsible for conducting behavior assessments, creating and implementing behavior intervention plans, providing parent education, and offering direct support and consultation to individuals and staff. The BCBA will also monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and make necessary adjustments to interventions to ensure the efficacy of treatment plans.
- Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis skills
- Experience in Parent Education and Psychology
- Proficiency in Behavior Management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA)
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus
