Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, commercial offices, hotels, or other facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
• Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
• Conduct specialized floor care procedures such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality and appearance
• Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as required
• Manage trash disposal and recycling processes efficiently to uphold cleanliness standards
• Restock supplies such as cleaning agents, toiletries, and paper products to ensure continuous availability for ongoing cleaning tasks
• Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use to prevent accidents or health hazards
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing specific cleaning requests and ensuring client satisfaction
• Support custodial management in maintaining inventory records and scheduling routine cleaning routines
• Assist with janitorial duties in hotel or hospitality settings to uphold guest experience standards

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with a strong understanding of sanitation practices
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
• Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies; ability to operate machinery safely and effectively
• Customer service skills with a friendly approach to interacting with clients or guests
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and detailed manual work
• Experience with laundry operations and handling various textiles efficiently
• Strong attention to detail ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards consistently
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation
• Previous hotel housekeeping or custodial experience is a plus for roles within hospitality settings
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high-quality standards
