Duties
- Assist in implementing innovative, age-appropriate lessons that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and inquiry-based principles to promote joy and learning for children birth to five.
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a positive, inclusive environment that encourages social-emotional growth and guidance.
- Support children with special education needs and early intervention strategies to ensure all learners thrive.
- Assist in classroom routines and rituals to ensure an environment of inclusivity and structure.
- Assist in maintaining detailed records of student progress, guidance strategies, and lesson plans.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or other educational settings.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to foster a safe and nurturing environment for young learners.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage families in their child's educational journey.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
- Teaching Certification (Preferred)
