EH&S Manager
Location: Cheyenne, WY
Salary Range: $95,000-$140,000 (depending on experience)
Position Overview
The EHS Manager is responsible for leading and promoting a strong safety culture across assigned industrial job sites. This role ensures compliance with internal EHS policies and OSHA regulations through training, audits, incident investigation, and close collaboration with operations and client safety teams. The EHS Manager plays a critical role in reducing risk, preventing incidents, and supporting safe, compliant project execution across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate EHS programs across multiple sites within the assigned area
- Deliver safety training, new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and job site safety meetings
- Enforce EHS policies, Site Safety Plans, and OSHA/MSHA regulatory requirements
- Conduct job site inspections, audits, and daily safety reporting
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation and reporting within safety management systems (KPA)
- Partner closely with operations teams to embed safety into daily work practices
- Interface with client safety teams and regulatory agencies during inspections and audits
- Analyze safety metrics and trends; support continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor and develop field EHS personnel within the assigned area
Qualifications
- Mission Critical / Data Center electrical safety experience required
- CHST required or 5 years of construction safety experience (must obtain CHST within 12 months if not held)
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial construction safety standards
- Experience in heavy industrial construction (power, manufacturing, mining, pipeline, refining, food & beverage)
- Proven leadership, communication, and relationship‑building skills
- Experience with incident investigations, JSAs, audits, and hazard mitigation
- MSHA experience preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office and EHS management systems
- First Aid/CPR certification required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs; work at heights and in confined/excavated areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites
