About Us:The Prefurred Pack Pet & Farm Care Services provides professional pet sitting, dog walking, farm care, and house sitting throughout the Tri-Cities region and surrounding communities. We care for everything from dogs and cats to horses, livestock, reptiles, and other exotic pets.
Pet Sitter Responsibilities: Visit clients’ homes to care for pets Walk dogs and provide exercise and enrichment Feed pets and administer basic medications as instructed Complete detailed visit reports with photos Provide overnight house sitting when needed Maintain a high level of professionalism and communication
Manager Responsibilities: Assist with scheduling and coordinating visits Monitor client messages and service requests Support and communicate with team members Help ensure quality standards are maintained Troubleshoot scheduling and client concerns Continue providing pet care services as needed
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Smartphone with dependable service Comfortable working independently Excellent communication skills Dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Comfortable caring for animals of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Ability to work some weekends and holidays Must be comfortable driving throughout the Tri-Cities area and spending significant time on the road between visits
Preferred but Not Required: Pet care experience Farm animal experience Veterinary, rescue, shelter, grooming, training, or animal-related background. Management experiencepreferred for managementposition

Our service area includes Johnson City, Jonesborough, Gray, Piney Flats, Elizabethton, Erwin, Kingsport, Bristol, Greeneville, and surrounding communities. Team members should be comfortable traveling throughout our service area as schedules and client needs vary from day to day.
