Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Franklin, TN, for an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA). Responsibilities include assisting chairside during dental procedures, placing and finishing restorations, taking digital X-rays and impressions, maintaining operatory efficiency, and supporting patient care. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality clinical outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications
- Dental Assisting License/Certification and X-ray certification (TN)
- Current CPR certification and knowledge of OSHA-compliant sterilization techniques
- Working knowledge of basic dental procedures and terminology
- Strong chairside assisting experience preferred
- EFDA certification preferred
- Experience with digital X-rays, implants, oral surgery, and Dentrix is a plus
- Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset
- Organized, dependable, and motivated to learn and grow
