The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to ensure that all aspects of the club's operations run smoothly, maintaining the highest levels of member satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall management of club operations to ensure superb guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the hospitality staff to deliver exceptional member services.
• Manage online reservations and member inquiries efficiently.
• Greet and seat guests, ensuring a personalized and warm welcome to all members.
• Oversee event planning and coordination, from initial conception to the execution of high-profile club events.
• Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of staff to uphold service standards.
• Monitor the performance of the hospitality team, providing coaching and feedback to improve service outcomes.
• Conduct regular reviews of club policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
• Liaise with kitchen staff to ensure dietary requirements and special requests are accurately met.
• Manage inventories and supplies, ensuring all necessary items are stocked and available.
• Handle member complaints and issues, resolving them with tact and professionalism.
• Generate reports and presentations for senior management regarding club operations and member engagement statistics.
• Work alongside the General Manager to develop strategies for membership growth and retention.
• Ensure all club activities comply with legal and ethical standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant management, particularly in a leadership role.
• Strong ability to manage online reservations and systems.
• Exceptional skills in customer service, with the ability to greet and seat guests professionally.
• Experience in planning, organizing, and coordinating events.
• Capability to assist in managing a diverse team of hospitality staff.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Adaptability and flexibility to handle the complexities of the job.
• Certifications in Food Safety and Alcohol Service (preferred).
• Proficiency in using various software systems related to restaurant and club management.
• Commitment to uphold and communicate the club’s exclusivity and values to the team and members.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by club operations.
