We are seeking a dedicated and curious IT Intern to support daily technology operations and gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, systems support, and user assistance. This role provides practical exposure to hardware, software, and network operations within a professional ministry environment.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with Audio/Visual (AV) and livestream production teams during services and special events
- Support network infrastructure upgrades, configuration, and maintenance
- Assist in upgrading and managing digital signage systems across the campus
- Develop and update SharePoint intranet pages to improve internal communication
- Participate in web and mobile app testing, providing quality assurance feedback
- Assist in developing workflow and process automation using available digital tools
- Provide end-user technical support, including troubleshooting devices, software,
- and connectivity
- Uphold The Potter’s House standards of professionalism, hospitality, and confidentiality
What You’ll Bring
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must provide two (2) non-family recommendation letters (teacher, pastor, or supervisor)
- Interest in information technology, computer science, or systems administration
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with equipment setup
Additional Details
- Duration: 12 weeks, up to 20 hours per week
- Schedule: Tuesday through Friday & Sunday. Additional event support may be required
