Partner Donor Development Strategist


The Partner Donor Development Strategist plays a vital role in strengthening partner relationships, stewarding donors, and supporting retention strategies that drive long-term ministry engagement. This role focuses on executing donor lifecycle initiatives, coordinating partner outreach, and supporting operational excellence to enhance donor satisfaction and loyalty.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Recruitment, Retention, and Cultivation (RRC) strategies to grow and sustain the donor base.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of partner lifecycle journeys, including ongoing engagement and reactivation.
  • Conduct targeted outreach initiatives, as necessary (calls, email campaigns, courtesy calls) to improve partner retention and strengthen relationships.
  • Analyze partner engagement trends and identify opportunities for improved stewardship.
  • Support maintaining accurate donor and prospect records in the donor management system.
  • Assist with partner-focused events, conferences, and engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate donor storytelling, data research, interviews, and impact-focused projects.
  • Manage partner-related projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Maintain documentation for campaigns, outreach activities, and engagement outcomes.
  • Enter and track requests using internal systems (EMS, ReQlogic, SharePoint, Asana, HubSpot).


Qualifications
:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Strong understanding of donor development, retention strategy, and relationship-based engagement.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • High attention to detail, strong organization, and follow-through.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
    • Experience using donor management systems.
    • Ability to interpret engagement data and produce actionable insights.
    • Knowledge of Asana and HubSpot is strongly preferred.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • 2–5 years of donor development, fundraising support, customer service, or relationship management experience.
    • Previous call center or donor outreach experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to bend and lift a minimum of 25 pounds.

Schedule:

    • Hybrid office environment.
    • Occasional travel required for events or partner initiatives.
