What You’ll Do
- Assist with planning, organizing, and executing outreach and community service projects
- Support volunteer coordination, including registration, communications, and event-day logistics
- Help manage inventory, donation tracking, and supply distribution for service events
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and impact documentation
- Participate in community engagement activities, representing UMC& TPH Outreach & with professionalism and compassion
- Support marketing and communication efforts for upcoming outreach initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the mission and values of UMC & TPH Outreach
What You’ll Bring
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must submit two (2) non-family recommendation letters (teacher, pastor, or supervisor)
- Interest in community outreach, nonprofit leadership, social impact, or ministry
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in dynamic environments
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with setup or distribution as needed
Additional Details
- Duration: 12 weeks, up to 20 hours per week
- Schedule: Flexible within standard business hours; occasional evenings or weekends for outreach events
