Uniform Room Attendant

Overview

The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Uniform Room Attendant to join the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.

The Uniform Room Attendant will be responsible for receiving, storing, and cleaning colleague uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Receive and issue all uniforms.
• Mantain uniform control by issuing all uniforms on an exchange basis only.
• Assess repairs needed; accurately measure and alter uniforms.
• Accept laundry from team members, verify, count and inventory what was collected.
• Prepare dry cleaning and laundry lists. Send and receive dry cleaning and laundry for processing.
• Wash and iron team members and guest clothing.
• Organized and properly stored guests' clothing in the designated laundry area upon receipt.
  
  

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous customer service or cleaning experience
• Knowledge in and or experience with Forbes 4/5 Star service standards is preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
• Physical demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and prolonged extended periods of standing
