Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items with precision and care, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times
- Mix and serve a wide range of cocktails, utilizing your mixology skills and beverage recipe knowledge to delight guests
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing cash and card transactions efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, wine pairings, and craft beer options
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and bar areas while adhering to health regulations and food handling protocols
- Assist in developing new beverage recipes and enhancing existing drink menus to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Support banquet and catering events as needed, ensuring all food and beverage service exceeds guest expectations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, bartending, or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or hospitality industry standards
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately
- Demonstrated skills in mixology, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, craft beer experience, and beverage recipe development
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to serve with professionalism in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food cost management
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain required certifications prior to employment
- Experience with banquet service or catering is a plus; familiarity with food industry standards is highly desirable
