What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hired Interviewer position at The Posse Foundation?
For Fall 2026, Posse Atlanta is seeking note takers/interviewers to assist Posse professional staff with note taking and conducting interviews!
The Posse Foundation employs its Dynamic Assessment Process (DAP) to assess and select candidates for the scholarship. There are three stages to DAP: a large group interview, an individual interview (for those who advance from the group interview stage), and a small group interview (for those who advance from the individual interview stage).
This interview is an opportunity for the Posse organization to get to know the candidate personally. Each hired interviewer will be paired with a Posse staff member and will meet with each candidate for approximately 20 minutes per interview. Before and after each session, the interview team will debrief by discussing the candidate, recording descriptive notes and observations and assigning a score. The score will help determine which candidates advance to the third and final stage of DAP. The notes taken will be used, if the candidate does advance, to compile a brief biographical statement which will be shared with the partner college on the candidate’s behalf.
The individual interviews are scheduled to take place, in-person, at our office in downtown Atlanta – 101 Marietta Street NW from August 25 to October 9. In-office hours for the Hired Interviewer position will be 10:00am-6:00pm. There will be a [virtual] training session for interviewers on Thursday, August 20 from 11:00am-4:00pm. Note, orientation attendance will be paid in addition to time served. Details of how to attend the training will be shared as necessary.
Posse provides compensation of $15/hour for this position.
