Pet Bather

The Posh Puppy team is looking for bathers that are willing to work with all types of dogs to provide the services needed to keep them healthy, happy and looking great! We are looking for driven professionals who share our passion for learning and caring for pets, to join our team. Experience is not required (we will train the right people)

Hours: Approximately 5 hours per day, Tuesday through Saturday, your schedule will vary from week to week depending on work load and Saturday availability is a *MUST*. We are offering Part-Time work or Full-Time for motivated workers. And we are looking to hire 2 individuals to fill this position!

About Posh Puppy: We are a growing full-service salon with multiple established groomers. We are booking out months in advance. Our clients are all kind and generous people who prebook appointments regularly. We value safety and good experiences for the pets in our care over all. We keep our salon clean and calm to promote a relaxed environment for both employees and dogs.

We will be conducting open interviews starting October 22, 2025 until the position is filled.

Responsibilities:

We will provide more detailed information about the responsibilities at the time of interview but the basic responsibilities are listed for you below:

Bathe and dry each pet thoroughly. Including face, ears, and expressing anal glands as necessary.

Notify groomers of ANY abnormalities noticed on pet (ie. Skin irritations, fleas, ticks, sores, anal gland issues, etc.)

Thoroughly sanitize after each dog and cleaning chores at the end of each day, and deep cleaning at the end of Saturday. (Required for every employee)

Answering the phone and scheduling appointments as necessary.

Maintain detailed record of all services performed on all pets in our salon.

Requirements:

Must be able to pass a thorough background check.

Must have reliable transportation (Valid Driver's License and a car)

Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 lbs. Plan to be on your feet for the full duration of your shift excluding break times.

Must have excellent customer service skills in person and over the phone.

Must be comfortable working with all breeds of dogs.

Must be able to do deep cleaning in salon on a daily basis.

Must be willing to grow with our company and to learn new skills and apply them to your daily tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.68 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
