This job was posted by https://joblink.maine.gov : For more information, please see: https://joblink.maine.gov/jobs/1282736 Housekeeper: 5 openings at Portland Regency Hotel & Spa, 20 Milk St, Portland, Maine 04101, phone: (207) 808-2160, Various duties as assigned, such as cleaning and maintaining common areas/dishes, overnight guest rooms, grounds and bathrooms, changing/cleaning bed linens/towels, etc., vacuuming, removing trash, dusting, replacing shampoo/soap, etc., general cleaning/room assistance, waste disposal, delivering guest requests to rooms, etc. 36 hours per week, Monday-Sunday (1-2 days off, varies), shifts start as early as 8:00 a.m. and end as late as 10:30 p.m. (multiple shifts available, varies); \$18.49-19.00 per hour, overtime possible at \$27.74-28.50 per hour; temporary full-time (April 1, 2026, to November 30, 2026). No minimum education or experience required; on-the-job training provided; performance-based bonus and/or raise possible; paid sick time accrual; retirement 401(k) eligibility, gym access, and daily employee meal available. Employer offers to help workers find housing. Paid weekly using a single workweek as the standard for computing wages due. Standard payroll deductions as required by law. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if worker completes half the employment period; the amount for daily subsistence will be at least \$16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of \$68.00 per day with receipts; return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Reimbursement within one week after the start of work of visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
