Responsibilities:
Our vision is of a Marketing Department that develops a new kind of relationship between the Port Authority and the customers we serve through strategic, data-driven, authentic engagement and dynamic storytelling across channels, to earn their trust and enhance the perception of our brand.
The Graphic Designer's role is to conceptualize, develop and deliver world-class creative ideas and graphic designs that help the Port Authority convey its messaging and transform the perception of its brands. The Graphic Designer will develop creative approaches to communications that are grounded in audience and media channel data, framed by our brand strategy and conveys the unique and vital role that the PA plays in the prosperity of our region and our country. Deliverables include concepts for creative tactics, billboards, posters, brochures, flyers, web graphics, digital animations and video editing.
Oversee and execute creative projects (mainly graphic design projects) from concept to production for any of the Port Authority’s business lines
Ensure quality standards are met and projects are delivered on time and on budget
Pro-actively generate ideas to add value to the work of the marketing team and help transform the team’s culture
Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify and execute best-in-class strategies for accomplishing communications goals and ensure brand consistency
Qualifications:
Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:
A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts or related field from an accredited college, university, or design school
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of four (4) years of graphic design or relevant experience
Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design software (such as After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator or In-Design, etc.)

Ideal candidates will present the following profile:
Graphic design or relevant experience in advertising, publishing, in-house design services or related field
A passion for creative excellence, branding, and visual communication and a track record of developing great creative ideas beautifully designed, including in digital and video formats
A strong portfolio that showcases a broad range of creative ideas and communication designs
Ability to conceptualize ideas based on strategic briefs and to create original graphics, layouts and animations, as well as retouch images
A thorough understanding of production processes. Knowledgeable in preparing job specifications for cost estimates and project schedules
Ability to work fast and both collaboratively and individually
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently orally and in writing
