The Porch Store is a small, growing company in Bon Aqua, TN that sells custom porch products (railings, screen doors, gates, bed swings) nationwide through e-commerce. We're hiring an entry-level Inside Sales & Customer Service Coordinator to help customers choose the right products and place orders.
This role is perfect for someone who has basic construction or home-improvement knowledge and is also comfortable working on a computer. We'll train you on everything else.
What You'll Do
- Answer customer calls/emails (no cold calling)
- Help customers with measurements and product selection
- Create quotes and enter orders accurately
- Review simple drawings/photos to match items to projects
- Communicate lead times and shipping info
- Learn our product line and support the production team
What We're Looking For
- Basic understanding of construction, building materials, or home improvement
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Clear, friendly communication and customer service mindset
- Detail-oriented and organized (custom orders require accuracy)
- Comfortable problem-solving and answering technical questions
Nice-to-Have Backgrounds
- Home Depot/Lowe's Pro Desk or hardware store experience
- Building materials, decking, fencing, or millwork sales
- Construction office admin or project coordinator
- Junior estimator or takeoff experience
