What You'll Do:
Payroll Processing: Collect, verify and enter employee hours, wasges, overtime, commissions and bonuses into the payroll system.
Data Management: Update employee records for new hires, terminations, changes in exemptions and transfers.
Deductions & Taxes: Calculate and process tax withholding (Fed, State, Soc Security) and other deductions (Insurance, 401K).
Payroll Accounting: Enter payroll information inthe Accounting System, with benefits providers and with government agencies.
Record Keeping: Maintain confidential and accurate payroll files, including W-4s and time cards, both electronic and physical.
Employee Support: Answer questions and resolve discrepancies regarding pay, deductions and timekeeping.
What You'll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency with accounting & payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks and deadlines.
Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
A high level of integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
The Details:
Full time employment available, part time possible
Monday thru Friday with flexible schedule
