Transportation Coordinator/Driver
The Ponce Therapy Care Center is looking for a Full Time Transportation Coordinator to join their staff.

Qualifications Of A Transportation Coordinator/Driver
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A valid CNA liscense
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL with passenger endorsement preferred, if required by state law).
- Previous experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents with limited mobility.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Key Responsibilities Of A Transportation Coordinator/Driver
- Safely operate facility-owned vehicles to transport residents to medical appointments, therapy, outings, etc.
- Maintain transportation schedule and coordinate with nursing, activities, and administrative staff.
- Ensure residents are assisted in and out of the vehicle as needed, including those using wheelchairs or mobility aids.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Keep accurate transportation logs and documentation.
- Communicate any resident concerns or incidents to appropriate staff.
- Assist with other transportation or logistics duties as needed.
