The Ponce Therapy Care Center is looking for a Full Time Transportation Coordinator to join their staff.

Job Summary:
The Transportation Coordinator/Driver is responsible for coordinating and providing transportation services for residents to medical appointments, personal errands, outings, and other scheduled trips. This role ensures safety, punctuality, and a respectful experience for all residents during transportation.
Qualifications
Qualifications Of A Transportation Coordinator/Driver
High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A valid CNA liscense
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL with passenger endorsement preferred, if required by state law).
Previous experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents with limited mobility.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Of A Transportation Coordinator/Driver
Safely operate facility-owned vehicles to transport residents to medical appointments, therapy, outings, etc.
Maintain transportation schedule and coordinate with nursing, activities, and administrative staff.
Ensure residents are assisted in and out of the vehicle as needed, including those using wheelchairs or mobility aids.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Keep accurate transportation logs and documentation.
Communicate any resident concerns or incidents to appropriate staff.
Assist with other transportation or logistics duties as needed.
