The Poker Lodge is seeking outgoing, well-connected individuals to help grow a private, low-stakes safe place to practice playing, with a comprehensive poker training center and social poker community through trusted introductions and relationship-based referrals.
This role is ideal for someone with strong post-college social, alumni, or recreational networks who is comfortable starting one-to-one conversations and identifying individuals who would be a strong fit for a private, social environment.
This is not a social media management role and not a high-volume cold outreach position. Success in this role is based on judgment, relationship-building, and the ability to generate quality referrals—not mass outreach.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential members through personal networks and extended connections
- Initiate genuine, one-to-one conversations with prospective members
- Generate qualified referrals for final screening interviews
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality prospective members
- Represent the organization in a professional and trustworthy manner
Qualifications:
- Strong post-college social, alumni, or recreational network (e.g., golf, fantasy sports, poker, or similar communities)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with direct outreach via text, phone, or messaging
- Strong judgment and ability to assess candidate fit
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Experience in recruiting, referrals, partnerships, or community-building preferred but not required
