Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, particularly in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs, fine dining, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with strong time management skills, are essential to succeed in this position. A background in food safety, food handling, and hospitality will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards during beverage preparation and serving
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at the end of each shift
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering functions when required
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including specialty drinks and seasonal selections
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, retail math, or hospitality industries is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management
- Ability to work night shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly, with an understanding of legal requirements for alcohol service
