Summary:
The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety in the kitchen. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a positive dining experience for golfers and restaurant guests.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Assist in daily kitchen setup and ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely service.
- Monitor food inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Adapt to high-volume periods, such as tournaments, special events, and weekends.
- Contribute ideas to menu development and seasonal specials.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation standards, and food preparation techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork-oriented mindset.
- Culinary degree or formal training is a plus but not required.
