Part-Time Retail Associate – Creative Workshop
Love cute crafts, colorful spaces, and making people smile?
The Plushie Workshop is looking for a friendly, energetic Part-Time Retail Associate to help guests create their very own handmade plushies! You’ll guide children, teens, adults, families, and party groups through a fun, hands-on experience from choosing colors to sewing, stuffing, decorating, and completing their new plushie friend.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is creative, dependable, outgoing, and comfortable making every guest feel welcome and excited.
Required Availability
- Paid training will be held on Thursday, July 30 and/or Friday, July 31
- Ongoing weekend availability is required
We are actively scheduling interviews, and available positions are limited.
What You’ll Do
- Host fun and interactive plushie-making workshops
- Guide guests through sewing, stuffing, decorating, and assembling their plushies
- Create a warm and memorable experience for families, parties, and groups
- Help guests choose colors, accessories, and special add-ons
- Recommend products and process purchases
- Prepare workshop materials and restock supplies
- Answer calls and assist with customer questions and bookings
- Keep the studio clean, organized, colorful, and photo-ready
- Assist with opening, closing, inventory, and daily studio operations
What We’re Looking For
- Basic hand-sewing experience is required
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and comfortable speaking with customers
- Patient and encouraging when helping children and first-time crafters
- Dependable, organized, and able to work in a busy environment
- Comfortable recommending products and helping with sales
- Knitting or crochet experience is a plus, but not required
