Summary:
The Private Client Services Consultant is a new Producer or a Producer that does not have a book of business. In the role, the Consultant actively solicits and sells insurance products and services to existing and new clients; may maintain an existing book of business; expands a book and enhances the image of The Plexus Groupe.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify prospects using sales tools to identify and cold contact potential clients
- Utilize sales tools to identify cross sell opportunities
- Follow up on leads
- Enter all contacts and data into the CRM system
- Participate in activities that maintain and expand the book of business
- Maintain and expand carrier relationships
- Stay current with industry, licensing and education requirements
Required Experience:
- At least 1 year of related experience or training
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Must hold an active Property & Casualty License. If a candidate is not licensed at the time of hire, it is expected for this process to be completed within the first 60 days
- A thorough understanding of insurance underwriting and coverages, including rating procedures
- Ability to work autonomously
- Be competitive, persistent and self-reliant, with a sales drive
- Good interpersonal skills and high ethical standards
