What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Night Manager position at The Plex?
The Plex is currently taking applications for a Facility Night/Weekend Manager. Ideal candidates typically work between the hours of 4pm and midnight on weeknights and day or evening hours on weekends. Shifts are flexible, but you must be able to commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week, hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to undergo both an Indiana and US criminal background check. This is a great opportunity for someone who is going to school, balancing another career or wants to get their start in Sports Management!
As a Manager on duty, you will greet and assist customers and oversee all activities of the facility as well as manage the retail staff. Managers will be fully trained and have a complete working knowledge of the front office system, so as to accurately and efficiently manage and perform all front desk functions including (but not limited to) the following:
- Greet and assist guests (in person and on the phone) according to company standards
- Answer questions regarding field availability, tournaments and other events/programs
- Process payments for membership sales, field rentals, league registrations, etc.
- Assist in any retail area (Concessions, soccer shop or bar area)
- Support Senior Management with special projects when requested
- Effectively demonstrate and communicate The Plex Mission statement and principles
In addition to the responsibilities above, the Night Manager is expected to follow all company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect all company assets. Develop positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the Director of Operations.
