The Role
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our HR team in a part-time support capacity. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build practical HR experience in a real-world setting. You’ll work directly with the HR Director on projects that keep our team organized, compliant, and connected.
What You’ll Do
- Scan, organize, and upload paper HR records into our electronic filing system
- Enter and update employee data in Paycom (our HRIS platform)
- Assign online training courses to employees through Paycom LMS
- Distribute company policies to employees for electronic review and acknowledgment
- Assign HR documents to employees for electronic acknowledgment and signature
- Track completion status of training and acknowledgments and report outstanding items
- Run reports from Paycom to support HR operations and compliance tracking
- Track training and acknowledgment completion rates and flag gaps to the HR Director
- Build and maintain Excel spreadsheets and trackers to organize HR data and monitor deadlines
- Assist with general filing, records organization, and other HR administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in HR or Business Administration a plus
- Intermediate Excel skills required — comfortable organizing data, using filters, and building basic spreadsheets and trackers
- Comfortable with computers and willing to learn new systems — Paycom experience is a bonus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy
- Trustworthy and discreet — you’ll be handling confidential employee information
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
- Prior office or administrative experience helpful but not required — entry level and students welcome
