OVERVIEW:

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing direct resident care including clinical, personal, nutritional, and restorative care. This is an 1199 Union position. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Help patients use the restroom
  • Clean and bathe patients or residents
  • Maintain patients' hygiene and change bedding
  • Turn, reposition, and move patients between wheelchairs, seats, and beds
  • Serve meals and help patients eat their food
  • Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature
  • Listen to patient’s health concerns and report details to an RN or Doctor
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid CNA License in the State of New York
  • CPR/BLS certified
  • 1 year nursing experience in a Long-Term Care facility.
  • Fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
