OVERVIEW:
The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing direct resident care including clinical, personal, nutritional, and restorative care. This is an 1199 Union position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help patients use the restroom
- Clean and bathe patients or residents
- Maintain patients' hygiene and change bedding
- Turn, reposition, and move patients between wheelchairs, seats, and beds
- Serve meals and help patients eat their food
- Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature
- Listen to patient’s health concerns and report details to an RN or Doctor
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid CNA License in the State of New York
- CPR/BLS certified
- 1 year nursing experience in a Long-Term Care facility.
- Fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
