Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeping / Maintenance Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of locker rooms, restrooms, showers, and other club facilities, while also assisting with light maintenance and outdoor upkeep. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works efficiently with minimal supervision, and is committed to providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and staff.
Essential Responsibilities:
Housekeeping Duties
Locker Rooms
- Empty trash receptacles and towel bins
- Restock clean towels and supplies
- Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors
- Wipe down locker exteriors
- Clean benches, countertops, mirrors, and fixtures
- Refill toiletries including soap, shampoo, and lotion
- Monitor and eliminate odors to maintain a fresh environment
Showers / Wet Areas
- Scrub and disinfect shower walls and floors
- Clean shower curtains and surrounding areas
- Descale fixtures and shower heads
- Ensure drains remain clear and functional
- Remove soap scum, mildew, and buildup
- Mop floors regularly to prevent slipping hazards
Restrooms
- Clean and disinfect toilets and urinals
- Sanitize sinks, counters, and high-touch surfaces
- Refill soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Empty sanitary bins and trash receptacles
- Mop and disinfect floors
- Check for cleanliness and odors throughout the day
Maintenance Duties
- Clean interior and exterior windows
- Perform pressure washing as needed
- Maintain dog park area, including changing trash bags
- Leaf blowing and general outdoor upkeep
- Replace light bulbs
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or light maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull supplies and equipment as needed
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance
Schedule Requirements:
- Must be required to work Saturdays and Sundays and other shifts as needed.
