Courtside Cafe Attendant Private Club

The Courtside Café Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming, energetic, and memorable experience for club members and guests. This position requires an outgoing personality, a passion for hospitality, culinary knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate takes ownership of the café experience by promoting daily food features, maintaining high service standards, and contributing to a fun and engaging atmosphere.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Provide outstanding food and beverage service while building positive relationships with members.
• Prepare and serve menu items in accordance with food safety and presentation standards.
• Promote and enthusiastically recommend daily specials, seasonal offerings, and featured menu items.
• Demonstrate culinary knowledge to answer questions and make menu recommendations.
• Take ownership of the Courtside Café by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and an inviting atmosphere.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing multiple priorities.
• Ensure accurate order taking, food preparation, and member account charging procedures when applicable.
• Maintain food quality, freshness, and proper product rotation.
• Follow all health, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, inventory, stocking, and general café maintenance.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service team members to ensure exceptional member satisfaction.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude while adapting to changing business needs.
• Opening/closing duties for café
• Reliability as an employees is Essential in this position
• Set-up for Special Events and Tournaments
• Assist during Courtside Events & Tournaments

Qualifications

• Previous food service, café, or restaurant experience preferred.
• Culinary knowledge or food preparation experience required.
• Current ServSafe Food Handler or ServSafe Certification required.
• Jonas POS knowledge helpful
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, engaging personality with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Schedule Requirements

This is a full-time seasonal position requiring open availability throughout the club's operating season (September through May).

Candidates must be available to work:

• Days and evenings
• Weekends
• Holidays
• Flexible shifts based on business demands

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions.
• Work comfortably in indoor and outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
