About The Play Group Theatre

The Play Group Theatre (PGT) is a nonprofit theatre in downtown White Plains that has been a creative home for young artists since 1995. PGT has served thousands of students through classes, school residencies, summer camps and performance programs in its state of the art facility. It's known for artistic rigor, student centered teaching and a community where every young person belongs.

The Role

PGT is entering a period of growth, and this role leads it. The Programming and Marketing Manager builds PGT's education programs, brings in the students and families who fill them and tells PGT's story across the region. You'll have real room to innovate and help shape the voice of a beloved cultural organization.

About 60% of the role focuses on programs and partnerships and about 40% on marketing and communications. You'll report to the Executive Director and work closely with the Artistic Director and the operations and production teams. Teaching isn't part of the role, but you'll be on site during programming, including some evenings and weekends.

Location: On site at PGT’s facility in downtown White Plains, NY
