Overnight Registered Nurse

Job Summary

Highpointe Surgery Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Overnight Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room on a Part-Time basis. As a PACU Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and assist the surgical team during procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the successful outcomes of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to plan and implement patient care during surgical procedures
• Assess patients' conditions before, during, and after surgery
• Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgical team
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the surgical process
• Assist with positioning and preparing patients for surgery
• Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
• Document all medical procedures, interventions, and patient responses accurately in medical records
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Nurse or in a similar role
• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the surgical team
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions when necessary
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
