The Center for Outpatient Surgery is seeking a Scrub Technician to join our team.
Our ideal candidate is must be able to work with a high volume of work while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. They must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up the operating room prior to surgery
- Stocking surgical supplies
- Checking surgical machines and equipment
- Passing instruments to surgeons during surgery
- Assist with minor medical procedure Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- You must meet the NJ requirements under the Surgical Technologist law to be considered for this opportunity
- BLS is required
- No experience needed, willing to train
- Must be certified (CST) certified scrub technician
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech Program and a Certified Surgical Tech
- National certification is preferred
- Must be self-starter who works well independently
- Time management and prioritizing skills a must
- Ability to multi task
- SPD Certification is a requirement upon hire
